Chapter 18- A Dyke, A Bitch, Or A Whore?

I don’t even remotely claim to be representative of the typical female United States Marine. I am simply a single female Marine who has a story to tell. Plenty of female Marines will not want to be associated with my story and that is perfectly understandable. As a “rule”, there are three types of female Marines. We hear about the types from the day we enter boot camp. There are dykes, there are whores, and there are bitches. Every single female Marine falls into one of these pre-determined categories even if they are none of them. They are judged on their appearances, scrutinized when they interact with others, and openly scorned or mocked.

For me, I was automatically a whore. I was raised in the South so my manners, smile, or charm automatically made it seem like I was fucking every person who talked to me. I was too nice. After Afghanistan, I turned into a raging cunt and it honestly worked out for me. No one thought of me as a whore anymore; they avoided me. And I preferred it that way. I was already bitter and sad so turning into a bitch was a fantastically easy transition. My Marines hated me. I would make them cry and I frankly didn’t care. They were a bunch of weak and naive Marines who whined about running. So I ran them uphills. And they cried.

Now, the next chapter in the Afghanistan Story will be written by a guest writer. He is a script writer and one of the most decent people I know. This is a great way for you, the reader, to see a different view of the same story.

Let’s welcome to the stage, R.J. Virkler.
